The OTA Referee Committee will be piloting a new initiative for those interested participants residing in other regions of Ontario. We are pleased to offer this Kyorugi Referee Seminar concurrently via live-stream in Ottawa, Ontario:

The QFG Selection Committee & ONTARIO TAEKWONDO ASSOCIATION are pleased to announce a FINAL list of athletes who have been nominated for Ontario Cards under the 2016-2017 Quest for Gold – Ontario Athlete Assistance Program (OAAP). The athletes nominated were selected using the sport specific selection criteria developed by ONTARIO TAEKWONDO ASSOCIATION, approved by its Board of Directors and applied by the Selection Committee.

2017 Taekwondo Canada National Affiliation

ATTENTION Members & OTA Club Owners-

OTA Member CLUBS can now register their Club and their Members with Taekwondo Canada for National Affiliation. *OTA Membership is mandatory. All membership forms and fees are due by January 31, 2017.

**Taekwondo Canada National Affiliation Registrations will be the responsibility of each OTA CLUB to submit to the OTA.
**Taekwondo Canada National Affiliation base Fees are $50/per Club and $2/per Individual.Valid until December 31, 2017)

The OTA Member CLUB will:
1) Please fill out the attached form,TC National Registation Tracker keeping in mind the following important details:
• As stated on the form, do not change any formatting
• Fill out all of the fields completely

2) Email the spreadsheet to otatkdinfo@gmail.com. *All Fees are collected by the CLUB , & due by mail or drop off to:

2016-2017 Quest for Gold – Ontario Athlete Assistance Program

The Ontario Taekwondo Association on behalf of the OTA/ QFG Selection Committee, are pleased to announce the 2016-2017 Quest For Gold Program – Taekwondo Selection Criteria.

Applications are now being accepted for the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport’s (MTCS) – Quest for Gold – Ontario Athlete Assistance Program (QFG-OAAP).

The program is administered on behalf of the MTCS by the Ontario Taekwondo Association – the recognized provincial sport organization for Taekwondo in Ontario.

The overarching goal of the Quest for Gold – OAAP is directly related to the High Performance Sport goal of the Canadian Sport Policy – that Canadians are systematically achieving world-class results at the highest levels of international competition – by improving the performance and number of Ontario athletes performing at the national and international level; thereby contributing to the improved performance of Canada at international competitions.
