Dear OTA Officials,
I would like to Thank You All for a great start for 2009,
kicking off with a successful 2nd Sr. & Jr. Selections
this past month!
Please note that the OTA is hosting an Officials Refresher
on Sunday, February 22, 2009. This Refresher is open to Qualified
OTA P3, P2 & P1 Referees.
*Topics will focus on New WTF Rule Changes* which will be
announced at the 62nd IR seminar held by the WTF and the 53rd
IR Refresher course on February 7-10, 2009 during the US Open
Taekwondo Championships in Las Vegas, USA.
We would also like to acknowledge our fellow Ontario Referees
selected to attend the:
53rd IR Refresher: Master Barbara Marian(IR), Master William
Jones(IR)
62nd IR Seminar: Master Bhajann Mann(P1/N1), Master Glenn
Marian(P1/N1), Master Denise Gareau(P1/N1), & Master Karen
Armour(P1/N1).
The implementation of these rules are scheduled to be take
in effect at the 2009 World Cup Event in June 10-14 in Baku,
Azerbaijan.
This OTA Event is to prepare our Taekwondo community to adapt
to the standardized rules, once made official.
