It was a great start for 2009 for Team Ontario!
The Ontario Senior Team participated at the 2009 Canadian
National Taekwondo Championships in Richmon, B.C., on May
2nd and 3rd, 2009, led by Coach Jamie Dossantos.
Once again, Team Ontario performed to expectations by
finishing first overall, with three Golds in Men and three
Golds in Women. The top Ontario contenders had qualified
for the Canadian National Team Trials on July 25th, to be
held in Kingston, Ontario. The winners at this event will
earn a spot on the World Championships Team to be held in
October -Copenhagen.

This is a reminder that the Deadline of December 15 2008 is approaching
to submit the Quest For Gold Application. Only those who submit
the application form will be eligible for funding.
DO NOT send this form to the Ministry address.
Please forward this to our OTA office by December 15 2008. The submission
of the application form is your notification of intent to be considered
for Quest For Gold. Address your application to the Quest For Gold
Selection Committee or email it to otavptech@gmail.com.
