Junior Camp and Coaches Symposium

To all OTA Clubs and members,

At our AGM last year, we announced that we were going to be running a Junior Camp. We are planning to conduct that Junior Camp on March 15 to March 17 2007 in Toronto. All Junior A, B and C competitors are invited to attend as well as coaches, instructors and families. As there will be limited space available, the respondents will be a first come registered basis. There will be an information package available on the website in the next couple of weeks so please look for it.

To all instructors and coaches who would like to participate in a coaching/teaching capacity, we welcome your suggestions and your involvement. Please repsond to this email as quickly as possible as we will be setting the topics and activities for the camp.

Along with the Junior Camp, we are also planning for a Coaches Symposium which will include some NCCP Courses. We will need some feedback from interested participants who wish to take this course. There is module A and module B being offered at this point. We may offer one or both depending on the number of interested parties. This is the old level one and level two courses. This will be a great time to updgrade your coaching qualifications. Along with the Coaches portion, there will also be a referee course being offered that may include the new poomsae judging rules and regulations.

It is imperative that we receive your feedback and interest for this symposium as the number respondents will determine the curriculum. Please email back to myself if you are interested in participating or have any questions.
