Dear Taekwondo Community,

The Selection Committee &  ONTARIO TAEKWONDO ASSOCIATION are pleased to announce a FINAL list of athletes who have been nominated for Ontario Cards under the 2015-2016 Quest for Gold – Ontario Athlete Assistance Program (OAAP). The athletes nominated were selected using the sport specific selection criteria developed by ONTARIO TAEKWONDO ASSOCIATION, approved by its Board of Directors and applied by the Selection Committee.

Taekwondo Canada National Affiliation

Re: 2016 National Affiliation

ATTENTION Members & OTA Club Owners-OTA Member CLUBS can now register their Club and their Members with Taekwondo Canada for National Affiliation. *OTA Membership mandatory.

(Taekwondo Canada National Affiliation Registrations will be the responsibility of each OTA CLUB  to submit to the OTA. Taekwondo Canada National Affiliation base Fees are $50/per Club and $2/per Individual .Valid until December 31, 2016.)

Registration Process:

The OTA Member CLUB will:
1) Download and fill out this spreadsheet
2) Email the spreadsheet to by the 25th of each calendar month. All Fees are collected by the CLUB , & due by mail or drop off to:
Ontario Taekwondo Association (OTA)-4560 Hwy 7 East, Suite 500 Markham, Ontario L3R 1M5

The OTA will:
3) Verify the  OTA Memberships are up-to-date, and authorize for National Affiliation.

Please note that Taekwondo Canada National Affiliation would be required to participate at Taekwondo Canada Events.
This includes:
•Taekwondo Canada/NCCP Workshops
•National Referee Program
•Nationally sanctioned Training Camps (such as Future Champs Program)
•Canada Open International Tournament
•Canadian National Championships
•Processing Kukkiwon Black Belt Applications & Certificates.

All Black Belt national/international participants that require a Global Athlete License (GAL) must log on to the  World Taekwondo Federation Global Membership System (GMS) and register here:    *Global Athlete License (GAL) fee is $125/Year
