2016-2017 Quest for Gold – Ontario Athlete Assistance Program

The Ontario Taekwondo Association on behalf of the OTA/ QFG Selection Committee, are pleased to announce the 2016-2017 Quest For Gold Program – Taekwondo Selection Criteria.

Applications are now being accepted for the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport’s (MTCS) – Quest for Gold – Ontario Athlete Assistance Program (QFG-OAAP).

The program is administered on behalf of the MTCS by the Ontario Taekwondo Association – the recognized provincial sport organization for Taekwondo in Ontario.

The overarching goal of the Quest for Gold – OAAP is directly related to the High Performance Sport goal of the Canadian Sport Policy – that Canadians are systematically achieving world-class results at the highest levels of international competition – by improving the performance and number of Ontario athletes performing at the national and international level; thereby contributing to the improved performance of Canada at international competitions.
